US Fish and Wildlife Service Lists Alligator Snapping Turtle and Map Turtle Species in CITES Appendix III

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has added the alligator snapping turtle and all map turtle species to CITES Appendix III, a move aimed at regulating international trade and protecting these native species from exploitation.
