HHS Amends Procedures for Designating Energy Employees as Special Exposure Cohort Members

The Department of Health and Human Services is updating its procedures to consider adding new classes of employees to the Special Exposure Cohort under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, following amendments enacted in 2004 as part of the Ronald W. Reagan National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2005.
