EPA Approves Virginia's Redesignation of Ozone Nonattainment Area and Maintenance Plan

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Virginia's redesignation of the Fredericksburg area as an attainment zone for the 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS), along with a maintenance plan to ensure continued attainment for the next 10 years.
