HUD Prohibits Use of CDBG Funds for Job Pirating Activities

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has implemented an interim rule that prohibits state and local governments from using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for activities that may lead to significant job loss, following public comments on a proposed rule published in 2000.
