Nuclear Regulatory Commission Extends Public Comment Period for Design Basis Threat Rule

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has reopened the public comment period for a proposed rule consolidating design basis threat requirements, following a request from the Nuclear Energy Institute for a 30-day extension, which was granted on December 21, 2005.
