Entergy Seeks License Amendment to Increase Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station's Reactor Power Level

Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. have submitted a request to the NRC to increase the maximum thermal power at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station from 1593 MWt to 1912 MWt, a 20% increase, without triggering a significant environmental impact, according to the NRC's final environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact, published in the Federal Register.
