U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Seeks Public Comment on Proposed Changes to General Electric Boiling Water Reactor Technical Specifications

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued a request for public comment on a proposed model license amendment and safety evaluation related to changes to the technical specifications for General Electric Boiling Water Reactors, with the goal of allowing improved control rod bank position withdrawal sequences during reactor shutdowns.
