Nuclear Regulatory Commission Proposes Elimination of Annual Financial Report Requirement for Certain Licensees

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to eliminate the requirement for licensees to submit annual financial reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), including certified financial statements, for those who file financial reports with these agencies. The proposal aims to streamline financial reporting processes for Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) licensees.
