Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for Fuel Storage Cask Regulations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of June 5, 2006, for a direct final rule that revised the BNG Fuel Solutions Corporation VSC-24 cask system listing, following the publication of Amendment No. 6 to Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1007 in the Federal Register on March 21, 2006.
