Nuclear Regulatory Commission to Assume Regulatory Authority in Rhode Island

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will take over sealed source and device evaluation and approval responsibilities in Rhode Island, effective July 1, 2006, following a request from the state's Governor to relinquish these duties.
