NHTSA Exempts Spyker Automobielen B.V. from Average Fuel Economy Standards
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has granted Spyker Automobielen B.V. an exemption from the standard average fuel economy requirement of 27.5 miles per gallon for model years 2006 and 2007, and established a lower alternative standard of 18.9 miles per gallon for Spyker for the same model years.
