FAA Adopts Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A320-111 and A320-200 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive requiring a one-time inspection of axle nuts on main landing gear wheels for missing locking bolts, in an effort to prevent wheel separation and reduced airplane controllability during takeoff and landing.
