Federal Aviation Administration Issues Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Proposed Replacement Airport in St. George, UT

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is releasing a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for a proposed replacement airport in St. George, Utah, which will be available for public review starting September 9, 2005. The DEIS evaluates the environmental impacts of the proposed project, including a 9,300-foot runway and related facilities.
