FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Goodrich De-icing Propeller De-icers

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring daily inspections and repairs or replacements of Goodrich De-icing and Specialty Systems' "FASTprop" propeller de-icers due to reports of loose or debonded units detaching from propeller blades during operation.
