FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Bombardier DHC-8-400 Series Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive for Bombardier Model DHC-8-400 series airplanes to address potential cracks and damage in laminated shims and loose attachment bolts, which could compromise the structural integrity of the horizontal stabilizer and lead to loss of control. The proposed directive aims to prevent such incidents.
