FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for CASA Model C-212-CC Series Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing a new airworthiness directive to restrict the operation of CASA Model C-212-CC series airplanes from carrying both passengers and cargo in the same compartment, in order to prevent a hazardous quantity of smoke, flames, and/or fire extinguishing agent from entering a compartment occupied by passengers or crew.
