FAA Withdraws Proposed Rule for Boeing 777 ETOPS Plan

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has withdrawn a proposed rule requiring replacement of generators on Boeing 777 airplanes equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines, following new data showing all affected planes have proper parts installed and spare parts accounted for.
