FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Gippsland Model GA8 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring repetitive inspections of the forward cargo door slide on Gippsland Model GA8 airplanes to prevent potential failure and cargo door detachment during flight.
