FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A319-100 and A320-200 Series Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Model A319-100 and A320-200 series airplanes to prevent plastic identification labels from entering the engine fuel feed system, which could cause an engine shutdown. The proposed AD requires repetitive inspections of the wing-tank fuel pumps, canisters, and wing fuel tanks.
