FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A330 and A340 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring accelerated testing of elevator servo control loops on Airbus Model A330-200 and A330-300 series airplanes, as well as Model A340-200 and A340-300 series airplanes, following reports of failed elevator servo controls due to broken guides.
