FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A340-200 and A340-300 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring repetitive inspections for potential cracking of critical thrust reverser components on Airbus Model A340-200 and A340-300 series airplanes to prevent engine failure and loss of control.
