FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7R4 Turbofan Engines

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring inspections of 1st stage fan blades on Pratt & Whitney (PW) JT9D-7R4 turbofan engines to prevent potential engine failure and damage to aircraft.
