Federal Acquisition Regulation Amended to Require Approved Authentication Products and Services

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council have agreed on a final rule to update the Federal Acquisition Regulation to ensure compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 and Federal Information Processing Standards Publication 201 for personal identity verification of federal employees and contractors.
