US Patent and Trademark Office Amends Rules to Support Electronic Filing of Patent Correspondence

The US Patent and Trademark Office is making changes to its rules to facilitate the electronic filing of patent correspondence, including patent applications and related documents, in a more efficient and streamlined manner, particularly with the use of its Web-based electronic filing system, EFS-Web.
