USPTO Adjusts Patent Fees for Fiscal Year 2007 to Reflect CPI Fluctuations

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is adjusting patent fee amounts for fiscal year 2007 to account for changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI), and will also adjust a few patent fee rates that track the affected amounts. The changes are part of the USPTO's efforts to recover higher costs associated with doing business, as authorized by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2005.
