OSHA Confirms Effective Date for Shipyard Fire Protection Rule

OSHA confirmed the effective date of its direct final rule for shipyards, which incorporated 19 National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, after receiving no adverse comments. The rule will now take effect on January 16, 2007.
