US FCC Allows Greater Flexibility for Mobile Satellite Service Providers

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has updated its rules to enable mobile satellite service providers to integrate ancillary terrestrial components into their systems, promoting the development and deployment of new technologies in rural areas and efficient use of the electromagnetic spectrum.
