FCC Proposes Regulatory Framework for Aeronautical Mobile Satellite Service Earth Stations

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is seeking public comment on a proposed framework for licensing Aeronautical Mobile Satellite Service (AMSS) systems to communicate with fixed-satellite service (FSS) networks in the Ku-Band frequencies, with the goal of providing broadband telecommunications services on aircraft.
