FCC Clarifies Financial Incentives for Telecommunications Relay Services

The Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau has ruled that offering free or discounted long-distance service as an incentive to use a particular TRS provider's relay service is a violation of the Financial Incentives Declaratory Ruling, making providers ineligible for compensation from the Interstate TRS Fund.
