FCC Adopts 11% Allocation Factor for Interstate TRS Fund

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted a 11% allocation factor for the Interstate Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS) Fund, which will determine the number of inbound two-line captioned telephone minutes compensable from the fund. The Commission has also directed the National Exchange Carrier Association (NECA) to retroactively compensate providers of inbound two-line captioned telephone calls from the fund, starting from the effective date of the Two-Line Captioned Telephone Order.
