FDA Responds to Objections on Tomato Lycopene Extract and Concentrate Color Additives

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has dismissed objections to its final rule allowing the use of tomato lycopene extract and concentrate as color additives in foods, and is setting a new effective date for the regulation.
