FDA Withdraws Rule on Investigational New Drugs Exemption

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has withdrawn a rule that would have exempted most Phase 1 investigational drugs from complying with FDA's current good manufacturing practice (CGMP) regulations, following significant adverse comments received.
