FDA Responds to Objections on Mica-Based Pearlescent Pigments

The FDA has dismissed two objections to its final rule allowing the safe use of mica-based pearlescent pigments in ingested drugs, and is setting a new effective date for the regulation, which was previously stayed due to objections.
