FDA to Host Public Meeting on Nanotechnology Materials in Regulated Products

The Food and Drug Administration will host a public meeting on October 10, 2006, to discuss the use of nanotechnology materials in FDA-regulated products, including foods, cosmetics, and medical devices, and to gather input from industry, academia, and the public on potential scientific issues related to these products.
