FDA Approves Omeprazole Paste for Horses to Prevent Gastric Ulcers

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a new treatment for gastric ulcers in horses, administered via omeprazole paste for 8 or 28 days. Merial Ltd. submitted a supplemental application for this approval.
