FDA Extends Comment Period for Proposed Changes to National Drug Code System

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is hosting a public meeting to discuss proposed changes to the National Drug Code (NDC) system, and has extended the comment period for the proposed rule governing drug establishment registration and listing until January 26, 2007, in response to requests from interested parties.
