EPA Announces Final Agency Action on 3 Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for Arkansas Waters

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has taken final action on three Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) for waters in Arkansas, following a lawsuit filed by the Sierra Club and others, in response to a lawsuit styled Sierra Club, et al. v. Clifford, et al., No. LR-C-99-114. The TMDLs were completed in accordance with Section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act (CWA) and can be viewed on the EPA's website at http://www.epa.gov/earth1r6/6wq/artmdl.htm.
