EPA Announces Availability of Risk Assessments for Pesticide MCPA

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made available risk assessments for 4-chloro-2-methylphenoxy acetic acid (MCPA), a pesticide subject to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996 (FQPA). The public has 60 days to review and comment on the assessments, which are part of EPA's process for making pesticide Reregistration Eligibility Decisions (REDs) and tolerance reassessments.
