EPA Approves Virginia Air Quality Plan for Mobile Equipment Repair Shops in Northern Virginia

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revision to the Commonwealth of Virginia's State Implementation Plan (SIP) to regulate volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions from mobile equipment repair and refinishing operations in the northern Virginia portion of the Metropolitan Washington, DC Ozone Nonattainment Area.
