Temporary Closure of Rock Island Railroad and Highway Drawbridge Across Upper Mississippi River

The US Coast Guard has temporarily exempted the Rock Island Railroad and Highway Drawbridge in Rock Island, Illinois, from navigation rules to facilitate repairs to its mechanical components, allowing it to remain closed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on June 4, 2005.
