Coast Guard Establishes Interim Safety Zone for Gulf Gateway Deepwater Port

The US Coast Guard is setting up a temporary safety area around the main part of the Gulf Gateway Deepwater Port in the Gulf of Mexico to safeguard ships and sailors from potential hazards related to deepwater port operations. All ships, except those providing support to the port, are barred from entering or moving within this safety zone.
