Coast Guard Implements Special Regulations for Chesapeake Bay Swim Events

The Coast Guard is enforcing special local regulations for the Annual Great Chesapeake Bay Swim and Chesapeake Challenge One Mile Swim events on June 12, 2005, to ensure the safety of participants and vessels in the navigable waters before, during, and after the events.
