Temporary Drawbridge Closure for Bridge Maintenance in New York City

The US Coast Guard has temporarily exempted the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge in New York City from its usual drawbridge operation regulations to allow for maintenance work, resulting in the bridge being closed from May 16 to May 20, May 23 to May 27, and May 30 to June 17, 2005.
