Coast Guard Establishes Sector Charleston and Marine Safety Unit Savannah

The US Coast Guard has announced the establishment of Sector Charleston and Marine Safety Unit Savannah, with the Sector's commanding officer assuming responsibilities similar to those of a Group Commander and Commanding Officer of the Marine Safety Office.
