Coast Guard Proposes Changes to Drawbridge Operation Regulations in Broward County, FL

The US Coast Guard is proposing to update the rules governing the operation of 12 drawbridges crossing the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway in Broward County, Florida, requiring them to open twice an hour, in response to a request from local officials and public feedback following a test conducted from December 2004 to February 2005.
