U.S. Extends Temporary Protected Status for Liberia

The U.S. government has extended the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Liberia for 12 months, until October 1, 2006, requiring Liberian nationals and certain aliens to re-register and apply for an extension of their work permits.
