USCIS Requests Extension of Information Collection for Review and Clearance by OMB

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) has submitted a request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance of an information collection related to the Department of Homeland Security. The request is an extension of a previously approved collection, which was initially published in the Federal Register on June 15, 2005, and allowed for a 60-day public comment period. The public is encouraged to submit comments until September 16, 2005, regarding the necessity and utility of the information collection.
