Coast Guard Proposes Changes to Bridge Operation Regulations in Louisiana

The US Coast Guard has proposed a rule change to allow the SR 1 vertical lift bridge in West Larose, Louisiana, to be closed on weekdays during the school year to facilitate staff and resident movement, following Hurricane Katrina.
