Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee to Discuss Coast Guard Proposals on STCW Convention Revisions

The Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee (MERPAC) will hold a public meeting to discuss the U.S. Coast Guard's draft proposals on issues affected by revisions to the 1997 Interim Rule implementing the 1978 STCW Convention, as amended, with MERPAC providing advice to the Secretary of Homeland Security on seaman training and qualifications.
