DEA Proposes Addition of Sodium Permanganate as List II Chemical to Combat Cocaine Production

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is proposing to add sodium permanganate to the list of List II chemicals under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) due to its potential use in illicit cocaine production, and is also proposing threshold quantities for domestic and international transactions.
